Key Fob Battery

Weird seems like I had a key fob battery die after only 3 months.
Guess I will monitor this and see if it drains batteries faster than it should before I complain to the dealer about it.

At least it's easy to change.

the buttons get butt pushed very easily ,mine kept locking unlocking as i polished the truck just from being in my front pocket , as i was sealing the front grill plastic the emergency horn alarm went off inches from ear

Mine have been good, no issues since August 28th. However, i have my key fobs in Faraday bags to prevent the constant pinging from the vehicle.

FYI, if you have your phone next to the FOB, ie same pocket, the phone will significantly reduce the FOB battery life. My parents had the same problem, after they kept them separated no more problems.

Do you leave the key fob in the truck at all? If so this will drain it fast too. My Tundra (which used the same fob) died in less than a year.
