Bunch more posts to come of the recent changes to the truck, but thought I’d post an initial on these new wheels I’m running from Method X 74Weld. Needed something with very high offset to pair well with 74weld portals that would support going very low PSI. Decided to go with the Dakar inspired collab wheel from Method: 17×8, 6×5.5 lug pattern Patented Bead Grip® technology engages tire bead for increased grip at low tire pressures Forged 6061 aluminum with T6 heat treatment construction Reinforced inner lip provides extreme strength and durability Increased room for clearance of larger brake calipers 4000 lbs. load rating +45mm offset narrows the vehicle compared to other aftermarket wheels Went with the Highland Bronze from Prismatic to match the rear chromoly links I have already. Hey folks,

I'm Mark. I've been browsing through the forum for a couple of days now and I must say, that I'm loving all the tips and chatter. You guys are a solid crew.

I snagged a 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro late last year, to haul stuff for some home reno projects I'm tackling. Wanted a midsize truck with 4WD, a stick shift, and no extra bells and whistles—just the basics. The straightforward setup is right up my alley, and I got super lucky finding one just 10 minutes away in Lakewood Ranch after a quick search online.

Already put about 7,000 miles on her, including a fun road trip from Bradenton, FL, to Charlotte, NC, and back, plus zipping around for my projects. I'm looking at making a couple of changes to my truck for some light off-roading on the Florida Trails. Would be posting them all on the forum when I'm getting them set up.
