One of the easiest mods I’ve done so far is adding the ScreenProTech matte screen protector to the display! I wanted to protect the screen from scratches, and from experience with my old rig, I’ve learned that dirt and displays/screens don’t mix — no matter how careful you are when cleaning. So definetly wanted to do things differently this time around!

I also added a clear protector for the cluster display, but I’m a huge fan of the matte option for the main screen. It cuts down the glare big time and makes everything easier to read, no matter the time of day.

Not the flashiest mod ever, but it’s one of those simple upgrades that just makes sense — 100% worth it.

Its just an overlay so super easy! They provide the spray bottle with a little soap and the squeegee as well.

Sweet, like I saw with Chloe on Youtube... I have a glass one from Amazon, i hate it, its too shiny/reflective.

I second the matte screen protector. Easy to apply, just take your time. And be patient if you get ‘fluid bubbles’. They will work themselves out over a few days. Just don’t mess with them. After about a week my gauge cluster looked perfect.

ever since I bought my Tacoma Offroad in December. The 14 inch screen came with the factory plastic screen protector. I don’t plan to remove it. Don’t get me wrong, I do want to purchase the screen protech. But for $60+. I rather save my money.

Nice mod :)

Awesome, functional and clean! I'll definitely have to do this myself, I hate how easily the plastics get micro scratches.

I'm running this: https://www.amazon.com/BIBIBO-2024-Toyota-Tacoma-Trailhunter/dp/B0CXHP78XM Budget friendly, think it was $16 when I got it. Cheap-o glass from amazon, works good, but i cracked it trying to get a bubble out, due to some lint/dust that I didnt see before i installed it.

might switch to this, if it gets worse.

Looks good bro I have the same kit on my truck. Great protection. Was wondering if anyone here in the feed has seen circular protection film for the two larger climate knobs. They’re face is clear and don’t want scratches on it down the road.

I believe the same people (ScreenProtech) make a full kit, for Dash, Radio, Climate Control and for next to the shifter.

Yeah, Screenprotech also makes a kit for the dash cluster. I installed this one as well but didn't take great photos. I also had it in my last

That's fair! I also ran the factory protector for a bit but messed it up while detailing the truck lol. There's definitely cheaper options out there but happy with Protechs as well!
