I just installed King shocks 2.5 with adjusters paired with Mazzulla upper control arms on my Tacoma, and I’m really excited about how the setup is coming together.
Just to be clear, I didn’t have any issues with the stock suspension. It actually performs pretty well, but I knew some upgrades were coming soon as I continue building the truck for more trail use.
Some early impressions:
The Mazulla UCAs help improve suspension geometry when running aftermarket shocks and also provide better strength and articulation compared to stock control arms.

- Small bumps and uneven terrain are absorbed much better
- Steering and front-end feel more stable
- The suspension feels more confident overall

- Provide a smoother ride on trails
