Figured I’d share some feedback on the Mastertrack 37” MTs now that I’ve had some time on them.
Fitment was better than expected for a 37. I’m running a mid-travel suspension setup and was honestly surprised how clean they fit. Very little trimming was needed, nothing crazy or hacky, and they sit well in the wheel without any weird stretch or bulge. Overall, they just look right on the setup.
Ride quality has been solid so far. For a 37” mud terrain, they’re not harsh and don’t feel sketchy on the road. They track straight, don’t wander, and balance out well. Obviously you know you’re on a bigger tire, but it’s not the penalty you’d expect jumping up from a 35.
One thing that really surprised me was fuel mileage. Compared to my 35s, MPG has been about the same. I was expecting a noticeable hit, but that really hasn’t been the case so far, which makes the jump to 37s a lot easier to justify.
Off-road performance has been exactly what I was hoping for. The extra clearance is noticeable, and they’ve handled dirt, rocks, and desert terrain without issue. No rubbing under normal use and no weird flex problems.
If you’re already on 35s and debating whether it’s worth spending the extra money to step up to 37s, I’d say it’s been worth it for me. Especially if you’re running mid-travel and want a bigger tire without turning your truck into a full-time project.
I’ll update the thread as I get more miles and trail time on them, but first impressions have been solid all around.
