SXTH Element sent over their intake and after running it for a bit I can honestly say it’s a great upgrade over the factory setup. One of the first things I noticed was the improved airflow and a bit more throttle response. The truck just feels a little more eager when getting on the throttle, especially during acceleration, and overall it seems to breathe a lot better than it did with the stock air box. Another thing I really like about this intake is the sound. It adds a really nice intake tone without being obnoxious or over the top, and it gives the truck a much more aggressive feel while driving. I attached a video below so you can hear how it sounds. Overall I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a small performance upgrade, or honestly even just for the sound alone because it really makes the truck more fun to drive. Figured I’d share a little about what I do at Gorilla Motorsports and what we focus on, since I get a lot of questions both on and off the forum.

At Gorilla Motorsports, I handle sales and product support, working closely with customers to get their rigs set up the right way. Our core focus is wheels, tires, and suspension, but we don’t stop there. We also do lighting, tint, wraps, and pretty much anything aftermarket depending on the build and goals.

One thing that sets us apart is how much time we spend on research and real-world testing. We don’t just sell parts off a catalog. A lot of what we recommend gets run, tested, and pushed in real conditions so we know how it performs when it actually matters. That helps us dial in setups that work, not just look good on paper.

Whether it’s a daily-driven truck, a weekend trail rig, or something built for harder use, the goal is always the same: make sure the setup makes sense, performs well, and holds up over time.
