King of the Hammers is coming up fast and if you’ve never been, just know it’s not your average off-road event. Long days, cold mornings, dusty afternoons, loud nights, and nonstop action. Come prepared and you’ll have a great time. What to Expect Desert conditions all day and night. Weather can change fast, so plan for cold mornings, warmer afternoons, wind, dust, and noise. Racing runs early and late depending on the class. Cell service is limited and services are minimal once you’re out there. Expect crowds, but also a solid community and good vibes. Much Needed Essentials Bring more water than you think you need. Food for the entire stay plus extra. Warm clothes and layers. A solid sleeping setup. Shade like an EZ-up or awning. Dust mask or face cover. Headlamp or flashlight. Extra fuel if you plan on driving trails. Trash bags, pack it in and pack it out. Basic tools and spare parts. First aid kit. Portable charger or battery pack. Ear protection if you’re camping near race courses or generators. Gorilla Motorsports Camp Gorilla Motorsports will be hosting a campsite and everyone is more than welcome to camp out and hang with us. Swing by, meet people, talk builds, and enjoy the weekend. We’ll be there the whole event and are looking forward to seeing everyone. Event Info This is a paid event. Veteran and military discounts are available. Wanted to share some feedback on my Lock Off-Road wheels since I’ve had a lot of time on them. I used to run the Baja in Matte Desert Bronze, 17x9 | 6x139.7 |+0 off set.

Performance-wise, these wheels have handled everything I’ve thrown at them. I’ve aired them down as low as 12 PSI without issues and they’ve held up great in dirt, street driving, sand, and rock crawling. No weird flex, no problems with balance, and they’ve taken hits without complaint. They just work, which is what matters.

One of my favorite things about these wheels is honestly the color. The Matte Desert Bronze stands out without being loud, and it’s surprisingly hard to find other brands offering something similar. It looks good in person, photographs well, and fits a lot of different builds.

From a value standpoint, these are a solid option if you want something that looks good and performs without spending crazy money. Definitely budget-friendly without feeling cheap.

I also want to mention the team at Lock Off-Road. They’ve been great to deal with — super supportive, responsive, and clearly care about their customers and the off-road community.
