24, TRD Offroad, I Max
First i will apologize if posting in wrong forum……So here goes, i currently have a TRD Offroad i max …….I fell in love with the Trailhunter wheels to go on my Bronze oxide offroad….
The thing is i may be in the minority, or oldschool. But i LIKE POKE….NO PIZZA CUTTER, having said that my new wheels ar the Trailhunters , Plus 20 offset, 18”. Im hoping to install at least 295-70-18 tires wiyh hopes of seeing some poke, i have installed a westcott level lift so my clearence will be fine, as far as gravel…i installed Greenlane slidders, so at this point if i get a chip oh well im not going to cry, and trade it in after the 3 year lease like im hearing is the new norm……so with all the great experiance here , is there a tire width i can even go wider then 295?
Anybodys input would be welcome, im fine removing crash pad, i drive maybe 8 miles per day and im a retired 60 yr old , offroad only when its needed, going to fly fishing spots ….
Thank you
David

+20 will be basically flush depending on the tire size you go with. You can go as wide as you want with these trucks and that offset and not have to trim/very minimal trimming. I'll include a picture of my truck on 0 offset wheels and 35" 12.5 tires. Hope this helps!

Love it, im even considering 35,s. I just want the damn tire to poke beyond fender wells, this is like a crap shoot , like you buy new tires and if dont work or have look you want your screwed……all i want is a beefy looking tacoma, i respect the guys wanting skinny tires, i want beef baby, its a truck and im old school, show me an 18 inch that sticks out beyond fendor flares…….thank you for responding
I have zero cares if mud flys, gravel or paint chips, its a truck simple its me

Thanks Riley, i just feel a taco looks good with some poke….im old school , i understand a concern on 35,s. 34,s im fine with i just want my taco to look traditional, this new thing slim, generation just isnt me, mud, overspray whatever, i have a power washer and i dont go to the mall lmao…

As poke goes (I personally think it's hard to beat Toyota's Pro and TH wheels - beats the looks off everything - Toyota has excellent designers - don't believe me - ever looked at Ford of Chevy interior?) I didn't realize TH - 20+ will have more poke than a Pro 45+...wow. So you've got that going for you.
