2024 TRD Limited
Hello all,

I was hoping to get some insight on installing these new tire and wheel package that I purchased online for my Tacoma.
I cant seem to find any reliable information online and I was hoping anyone who bought and installed this setup can provide some insight.

Specs:
Truck: 2024 Tacoma Limited (w/AVS) - Stock Suspension
Wheels: 17"x 8.5 Rough Country Series 78 Wheel - 0 Offset
Tires: 285/70/R17 Nitto Recon Grapplers

Hey,

I have a 2025 TRD Offroad, and when it was still stock height, I threw Rough Country series 82 wheels - 12 offset on with 285/70/R17 Rough Country Overlanders M/T. It rubbed a decent amount but it was almost entirely due to the offset. If I had 0 offset, it would have cleared just fine; if not, you may have to remove the back panel on your front wheel wheels, which is 2 bolts, but I am confident you will clear, and it will look great!

Truck looks awesome!

Thanks for the info! It definitely helps because I keep seeing such a wide spectrum of reviews and answers online that its tough to determine if I made the right decision or not. Doesn't help that my order's been on backorder for almost 2 months now but I am getting closer to the expected ship date so I'm looking forward to it.

You should be relatively in the clear, if we're talking about rubbing. On the street, you might have to trim the bottom front bumper and remove the mudflaps and trim a little bit of fender. It won't be terrible, but it's a possibility. Not to scare you or anything. It will be 98% clear on the road. Issues could be seen while in full lock in reverse, mainly on the back bottom fender by the mudflap. The front should be clear. Now for off-roading, under full compression, etc., you might see a little more. And like K2 mentioned, that body mount bracket/liner, at the extreme points of turning, etc. It should be very minor fitment though.

Thanks to everyone who reached out!

I can confirm this setup fit without a problem. There is very little rubbing in very certain circumstances. From what I've noticed so far its only when I am on an incline/decline of some sort and turn the wheel there is a slight rub but its very quick. The photo below is how it looks for anyone else who wants to go with this setup, it looks awesome in person! FYI I also installed the Rough Country paint matched fender flares which look amazing!

Sounds about right! Glad it worked out for you. And the truck looks soooo clean. The bigger flares look good on these trucks. I have the NYTOP gloss carbon ones. Are you shooting on a phone, or a DSLR here?
