Been meaning to get this post up... The 37s are finally on!

If you haven't been following along, I did a quick mock-up a couple of weeks back.

Here are some updated shots and how it's sitting. 37x12.5x17" Arroyo Tamarock RTs on 17x9, 0 offset Lock Off-Road Combat wheels.

In these photos, they're just barely trimmed enough for the road. On the pavement, the rear doesn't really give you any issues. For the front, the main issue was at the back of the rear front fender/flare. I trimmed it quickly on location at my local shop, Freedom Forged 4x4. They were cool enough to let me do some parking lot cuts with my grinder. Even gave me some gloves and safety glasses.

It was still rubbing on hard turns and in reverse, but I took the bare minimum off just to be able to make it home without destroying and misaligning my front fenders.

I've done full trimming and wheeled with it pretty hard since these shots, so I'll make an updated post soon outlining the detailed fitment and cutting process. But long story, short... with some moderate trimming (from my experience), they clear at effectively 100% in the most extreme situations. And it's relatively little modification for the Toyota platforms for such a large tire.

Now, I might be biased, but they don't look as big as I thought they would. But looking back, my 33s look teeny tiny. They really fill out the wheel wells. But the truck is larger and bulkier than the previous generation, so it kinda makes sense. Some new suspension to jack it up a couple of inches would probably help complete the look.

Let me know your thoughts and questions! Pics below... The first shot is immediately after install while still on the rack. No trimming. It was nearly impossible to drive without clipping something.

How is your gas mileage doing on the hybrid?

How is your gas mileage doing on the hybrid?

Around town, if I take it easy, I can still hit like 16-17 MPG. Still playing with it to see where I could max it out.

On the highway, at like 75/80+, I've been averaging around 13-14 MPG. 13ish seems pretty consistent.

You think the 0 offset made it easier or more difficult to fit?

The higher the offset, the more difficult it will be. If you had a more positive one, there would just be a little less trimming to do. Not a crazy amount, but it would be "easier".
