3rd Gen Tundra vs 4th Gen Tacoma

Who all is cross shopping the new Tundra and the new Tacoma? With the price increase of the new 4th Gen Tacoma and the sales Toyota is having on the 3rd Gen Tundra, it’s kinda hard to spend money on a midsized truck when you can just buy a full sized. I damaged a YouTube video breaking down why you’d buy one over the other, but I’ll put some pointers here for each.

TACOMA:
Better daily driving around town
Better MPG
Better built, more solid, less issues
More aftermarket support
More features with higher up packages

TUNDRA:
If you have a family and need space
Towing and hauling
Massive discounts

Asside from these differences these two do also have some similarities in the way they drive, tech inside, and other items.

Heads up, the 3G Tundra seems like overkill... UNLESS you: have kids/dogs and need extra space, need the towing capacity, or need the bigger bed size. Then maybe not. Otherwise the Tacoma is much better positioned.
