Auto/Power Tailgate Won't Open Or Close All The Way - Sometimes...

I've only had this issue a few times, and started when it got really cold outside.

Basically, when I hit the button to open the tailgate, there are moments where it only opens partially, like less than an inch, and then it beeps like something is in the way and it closes. Alternatively, when coming back up, it had a harder timing latching closed all the way.

The issue happens mainly when I'm opening it, not so much when closing. Maybe it was worse when the truck was parked on a decline and the tailgate was leaning forward more? Not exactly sure. Again, it only happened a few times, but I was curious if this happened to anyone else.

Lol. Not a good solution, Jon! It still feels like it catches a bit now that it's warming up. I'll have to see how it does during the summer.
