The rear diff is basically the lowest hanging point of your undercarriage. It often gets caught on rocks and that can cause damage to the housing as well as the drain plug.

Our rear diff skid bolts directly to the third member assembly and housing for total protection. It extends to protect the U-joint and driveshaft yoke. It's made from 3/16" steel for solid impact resistance.

The skid only fits the smaller rear differential available on the Tacoma. It will not fit hybrid models or TRD models with manual transmission.
