Paint Issues On New Tacoma - Chipping On Front Of Bed

Unfortunately, I’ve noticed ever since hitting the trails that rock chips on these new trucks are absolutely horrible, and the paint quality seems to have gone down from the third gen Tacomas. I recommend getting a PPF if you haven’t already. This is almost 2 years into ownership.

Pretty standard on the new gens. I don't want to immediately say worse paint, because Toyota doesn't have a perfect track record, especially with white paint. Definitely agree that this is an area that really needs PPF. Shouldn't be too expensive either. At least the bed is aluminum so it won't rust...
 
Yeah my celestial silver has this same issue. I have 255/75/17 ATs with mudflaps, never driven fast on dirt or gravel- just a design issue.
