Ok so I did a little big of research...

In 2024, Toyota sold nearly 200k trucks. In the first 6 months of 2025, they've sold 130k. If that trend continues, the final number would be north of 250k.

Not bad for a truck that did have some recalls and issues during the beginning of the first model year! I was looking at some historical data, and it seems sales peaked somewhere around current projections. So even with higher prices, etc., Toyota seems to be stable at worst.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on any of the numbers. I only did so much digging.

I am starting to see a lot more of them on the road. But still, the feeling in the air (at least to me) is that sales have been slow. Which does not seem to be the case. Good news for current owner too, since I'm not hearing/seeing a ton of complaints or reliability issues recently. My truck has almost 15k, and it's been great.

Who knows, 2026 might be an even better year, and a record amount of sales...

No more 1st year jitters...

Given that the first models came out in the spring, almost 200k is not bad and seemingly on trend. But for sure, people are less worried overall.

Same. Seems like it takes about a year of a vehicle being out to really start seeing it consistently on the road.
