Tacoma's Adaptive Cruise Control: How It Automatically Adjusts Speed to Match Traffic

Up hill, down hill. And everything in between. Before now, my cruise control sometimes seemed like it stayed dead on the set speed.

Finally figured, that if the speed doesn’t reach your setting is because the vehicle’s sensor is detecting a car in front of you that travels at a slower speed and since it’s in Auto pilot it slows down for you.

Initially, I thought it was broken, but it’s not. It’s just a nice and unusual feature because most cars, old cars, don’t have that.
