- 2025 Tacoma TRD Offroad
The Taco finally got some serious beef.
Huge thanks to MastertrackTires for the opportunity to test their new Badlands R/T in 35x12.5 on my truck.
For those who might not be familiar, MastertrackTires has been growing a lot in the off-road scene and they’re known for building tires that balance aggressive off-road capability with solid on-road comfort. The Badlands R/T is designed as a hybrid tire sitting right between a traditional All-Terrain and Mud-Terrain, which should make it great for trails while still being very drivable on the street.
New tire setup:
MastertrackTires Badlands R/T 35x12.5, mounted on my Lock Off-Road wheels 17x9 Krawler Machine Face Polish
First impressions so far:
I’m really excited to test these 35s on the trail, especially now that the truck is running King 2.5 suspension with Mazulla UCAs.
Big thanks again to Mastertrack Tires for the support and the opportunity to run these on the Tacoma.
Trail testing coming soon

First impressions so far:
- The truck immediately looks much more aggressive
- The wider footprint gives it a much stronger stance
- The tread design looks perfect for mixed terrain rocks, dirt, and sand
