Here is a clean build that we just wrapped up at Mountain Yotas. Not too many guys running the Lil B’s hybrid bumper yet, so this one turned out solid. Here are a few shots of the bumper and everything else we dialed in on this 4th Gen. Lil B’s hybrid bumper, integrated winch, full Fox 3.0 suspension, and properly wired Diode Dynamics lighting. Everything was installed in house, including suspension, wiring, mount and balance, and final alignment. Sharing my new setup that I've been running for a few months! I think every vehicle needs a set of rock sliders if they go off-road, or even just driving around the city! They protect you from damaging the body panels and messing up anything on the vehicle. The sliders mount directly to the frame and sit high enough to provide real protection on the trail. If you’re planning to do any serious off-roading, this is a major upgrade over factory steps or running boards that can easily bend.

These follow the Tacoma’s body lines well and give the truck a more aggressive, trail-ready look. They stick out just enough to function as a step without looking bulky.

One of the biggest advantages of the Step Edition is the integrated top supports (you can get filler plates if you do not want the gaps). Traditional rock sliders can be a bit awkward as a step, but the flat tread plate makes getting in and out of the Tacoma much easier, especially for passengers. They also add a bit of traction when the sliders are wet or muddy. And help to block flying rocks and stuff from the road. I added the optional kickout.

The sliders are built from heavy-duty steel and finished with a durable powder coat. They feel extremely solid once mounted and give you confidence that the truck’s rocker panels are protected. The welds and construction are clean, and the overall design looks great on the truck. If you want the durability of rock sliders but still need a practical step for daily driving, this step edition is a great middle ground. The rock sliders combine trail protection with everyday usability. I've been very happy with them.
