We Currently Have 3 Front Options To Choose from For the 4th Gen Tacoma - With Variations For Each

Hey guys, C4 Fabrication here! We've been working hard to bring you a variety of front bumper options for the 4th Gen Tacoma to match your off-road and overland needs.

Here are the latest options available:

Overland Front Bumper

This is a classic plate bumper inspired by our 2nd and 3rd Gen Tacoma bumper but completely redesigned to fit the body lines of the 4th Gen Tacoma. We've also redesigned areas for TSS compatibility in addition to how the plate actually comes together. All in all, this is a very robust steel winch bumper designed for maximum protection and trail functionality with three options for hoops. Ideal for those tackling technical trails or running heavy gear up front.

Specs:
  • 3/16" laser-cut P&O steel construction
  • D-ring tabs are 3/4" thick, fully welded front and back
  • Includes washer tank skid and winch controller relocation kit
  • Fits most 8k-12k winches (Warn VR series confirmed fit)
  • Designed for 30" single row light bars (Baja Designs S8, Heretic Studio 30", and Rigid SR-30 recommended). Other light bars will fit, but they may get cut off at the top and bottom.
  • Fog light pockets fit Baja Designs Squadron. Other pods fit, but they may get cut off or create a small gap if they are too small.
  • Weight: 114 lbs (no bull bar), 121 lbs (low bull bar), 128 lbs (mid bull bar w/ gussets), 138 lbs (full bull bar w/ headlight hoops)
  • Bull bar options are Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) and parking sensor compatible
  • Ships bare steel (requires painting or powder coating)

Hybrid Front Bumper

This is a C4 Fabrication favorite. This is one of the most popular designs we came out with almost 10 years ago. Combines the strength of a full-width front bumper with a sleek, low-profile design all while having an almost unlimited amount of lighting options. The hybrid features light mount tabs on the wings so that you can mount up to three pod-style lights on both the driver and passenger sides; however, with some creativity, we've seen people add more. The hybrid is lighter and more customizable than the Overland plate option we offer. There are two options for hoops, both low height and mid-height with gussets, which offer an impressive look and functionality.

Lo-Pro Front Bumper

IMG_9987.jpg

This is our OEM++ bumper. It's a sleek, low-profile option that retains full OEM sensor and safety system functionality while providing excellent winch capability and protection on the trail. With the Lo-Pro, you can retain most of your factory plastics or option the high clearance additions which will not only provide a better approach angle for certain obstacles but a very aggressive look for a low-profile bumper. Weight is always a concern so if that's top of mind, this bumper is for you. Weighing in at only 74 lbs, this is a great lightweight, trail-ready, recovery-ready bumper for your 4th Gen.

That full full height bar with tube gussets is exactly what I'm looking for 🤩
And also I'm happy to take the adorable pup that obviously comes with it 😉 lol
What's a better deal than a steel bumper and a new dog?

@C4Fabrication - It looks like the full-width bumpers are both modular with bolt on sides? Can you swap out the wings at any time and go from an overland bumper to a hybrid bumper or vise versa? Also, it looks like the bull bars are all bolt on now as well?

Man, all of these go pretty hard... Maybe not the full tubes across the entire front end. But that's always going to be a personal opinion. I do like having all the different options.

Also, not sure if it was mentioned... but it looks like the hoops/tubing is interchangeable. So technically... you could buy any bumper with the hoop/tube, and then run it without or without. Or maybe buy a couple different ones, lol. That's pretty rad.

I may or may not be getting one of these for mine!

Yep, the core and wings are built in a jig separately, so if at a later date you wanted to swap to a different style of wings or change to a different bolt-on bull bar, just contact us to get a custom order in for the parts needed. This is our first bumper with the bolt-on bull bar setup – so far we're liking it a lot!

Yep, definitely possible to swap between them – we'd just need to do a custom order for the additional bull bars!
