Hey everyone! I went down to Arkansas to tour the Backwoods Adventure Mods manufacturing facility and new warehouse. If you haven't heard of them before, Backwoods makes all sorts of off-road accessories for Toyotas, including the new 4th Gen. I went down there to install their (launching soon) rear bumper and to meet with the team to get a closer look at how they operate and build everything. U.S. manufacturing might be down in some areas, but these guys clearly show it's ramping up in others. Soooooo, I just took my new Tacoma to the dealer for a check engine light that came on for the grille shutter malfunctioning, along with several other warnings on the dash. I took a photo of all the warnings that came on. My dealer has ordered I believe a whole new grille shutter assembly to fix it. I will keep you all updated on the fix, hopefully in the next week or so when the part comes in. The good news is that the vehicle was totally drivable. It just randomly came on.
