Did Anyone Get Their Tacoma to 10k Miles Before Getting Their First Oil Change?

One thing I promised myself when I got my Tacoma was, I'd never rely on warranty for an oilchange. I'm aware there's a schedule that Toyota gives us for the extended warranty on our truck. "(8 000 = Inspection, 16 000 = Oil Change, 24 000 = Inspection, 32 000 = Oil Change, 40 000 = Inspection, 48 000 = Oil Change)" For me, I had my first oil change at 1000 miles and I plan on doing it every 5000 miles. The service people told me I didn’t qualify for their warranty oil change until 10k miles. I said I didn’t care and I’d pay for it. Can't really wait that long to take care of my vehicle especially given it's something I can easily afford. Is there anyone who had to wait for 10k miles on their truck before their first oilchange?

This was one of a few different bumpers I saw while at Expo West. It looks they C4 retained the factory hitch placement and built their bumper around it. There are solid recovery points and also retains factory sensors. I’m sure there’s options for lights and more once this hits their site.
