I painted and installed Rocksliders from C4 fabrication over the weekend. Overall they were easy to install and are a true bolt on. Note - they are already dirty from a snowstorm we just had.

Nice, how far do those stick out from the side? Can you take a picture along the body, showing how far they protrude?

I'm looking for something that will help protect against (Door Dings) when parked in a parking lot.

I don't think they would provide to much protection from door dings against SUVs/other trucks, but might protect against cars. With the curve of the panels, they only stick out about 1- 2 inches from the truck. Hope this helps!

AWESOME, you're the best! Thank's so much. Do you like them, aside from having to pain yourself?

Also, do you or anyone else finding themselves catching them, getting out of the truck?

Yes they are pretty nice. They don't seem to collect to much mud/snow, were fairly straight forward to install and I think will provide good protection. The kids/wife also like them a lot more than the predator steps that came with the truck.

I didn't mind painting them myself (self etching primer and a black matte enamel topcoat) and I think it will be convenient when I will need to touch them up after getting scratched/beaten up on the trail. That being said, there is definitely a convenience factor to having an item arrive already powder coated and ready to go.

Nice! Now that you've had them for a little while, do you still like them?

I still like them. They have been rock solid as far as protection goes and snow and mud do not accumulate on them.

The design of screwing on traction plates is not my favorite as there is corrosion around each bolt hole and around the track plates. Once warmer weather hits, I am going to take the traction plates off and redo the paint and do a bed liner type material on the top for traction and just leave the plates off.
