DIY Tacoma 14" Screen & 360 Camera Install: Step-by-Step for Non-Premium Users

I've been meaning to drop a DIY thread for non-premium users. So I plan to install a 14 inch screen upgrade along with 360 Bird’s Eye View Camera.

I am not the best when it comes to taking videos and it's a DIY process I plan to carry out by myself so I’ll try to take a step by step pictures for this installation.

It looks complicated but trust me, it's pretty much going to be an easy one. Just follow my step by step and you will be able to do it too.

PS: I’m not a Pro but I’ve done a couple install of these on different vehicles with a few friends so I’m kinda familiar on how to install it. The not so easy part here would be to fish the wiring inside the OEM wiring route so it will be clean install and looks OEM as possible.

The front camera is a great add. As for the bigger screen, well that doesn't really have much of a significance except you're someone who just likes a bigger display that's all.

I have the 14” screen I’m going to get the heritage grill with the front camera mount and this upgrade is really interesting to me bc I want the 360 degree camera view.

The 360° camera view is one mod I'd encourage a lot of owners to have. For the 14" screen, did you install it yourself? Also, do you prefer it to the original display screen that came with your truck?

My truck came with the 14” display. I really like the big display.
The crazy thing is. My display is missing the correct attachment brackets.

The display was sitting crooked in the dash.

I ordered the correct brackets. The other day and then I’m going to install the beat sonic amp when I put the brackets on.

I have the premium and the 360 makes life so much easier. My garage is kinda tight. Which the Tacoma fits. With the 360 I’m able to switch the camera to many different angles.

Is there an update on the DIY instructions? Or at the very least a part list? I have the TRD OR package without the cameras but I do have the 14” screen. Can you really just add the cameras and button and it works?
