We recently had the pleasure of upgrading Quentin’s 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport at 8Runner Off-Road in Tigard, OR. With just over 1,000 miles on the odometer, this truck was ready for its transformation from stock to trail-capable daily driver.
To start, we installed a customer-supplied front grille for a cleaner, more aggressive look. We also added forged upper control arms from RRW, a key upgrade when dialing in suspension geometry after a lift.
The core of this build centered around a Fox Performance Elite 2.5 DSC suspension system. This kit offers high-end damping control, external reservoirs, and adjustability for on-road comfort and off-road control. It’s a premium suspension setup that delivers performance in every condition.
To dial in the stance and maximize capability, Quentin chose 315/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, mounted to his own set of wheels. These hybrids are known for their smooth road manners and aggressive off-road grip.
We finished the build with a proper alignment to match the new suspension and upper control arms.
