Game-Changing Shock Tower Relocation Setup for my Truck

I am clearly showing my age with this one.....and it might seem to be a frivolous thing, but I genuinely want to know if I'm the only one out there that hates having the cargo in their bed sliding all over place and banging into the sidewalls and tailgate. The old school rubber bed mats, in my opinion, should have come with the floor mats for the Tacoma. An absolute must have have given the "slick" composite material that makes up the bed of the Tacoma. I got this one from TrailFx as its a bit thicker than the OEM Toyota version and less expensive. Does anyone else care about this like I do?

So I’ve been loving the shock tower relocation setup I got from a dealer I know, and it’s been a game-changer for my truck. It allows for a 13” stroke shock, giving me some serious travel. I’ve been using ADS Racing Shocks for years back with my older generation Tacoma, and they’ve been solid.

The dealer also hooked me up with some shackle hangers and a crossbar, which have really boosted the truck’s performance. I’m guessing some of you might be running the mid-travel Duro bumps like I was—great setup, though it can limit up-travel a bit with this system.

If you want more up-travel, you could switch to shorter Duro bumps to maximize the extra shock travel. Your leaf springs should be fine, but there are pros and cons to different leaf packs depending on your setup.
