Hi all,

Been lurking her for about six months now as I've been researching mid-sized Trucks and homing in on a Tacoma. I was as of late driving a '14 Silverado 1500 Z71 but recently decided I don't need a full-sized truck anymore for what I do with it. I had an '01 Tacoma SR5 prior, which I drove to 330k miles. My Silverado gave me five times the trouble my Tacoma ever did, so I decided to return to a Tacoma.

Just picked up a '25 TRD Sport in Bronze Oxide today and couldn't be happier. They've come a long way since my '01. I can't get over the ride quality and features compared to what I had back in my first Tacoma.

Looking forward to a long relationship with my Taco!

Any color for the 4th gen Tacoma looks amazing.

Be sure to spend time going over the owners manual and the tech of the truck. I came from a 2nd gen pre runner double cab to a 4th gen. All I can say is, I was impressed by the new technology and safety features the new Tacoma has.

Heh, heh, thx Jim. I told my wife "I think I'm going to have to go back and get a degree in IT so I can understand how my new truck works inside." Holly smokes, the bells and whistles it has. I remember my '01 had two features I thought was awesome high tech, a Clutch Start Cancel switch and a Differential Lock switch. Nothing compared to the new ones.

I agree about the colors, no bad choices these days really. I went in to secure a deposit on the Crushed Blue but fell in love with the Bronze Oxide once I saw it in person. Pictures don't capture all colors well it seems, some you have to see live to appreciate.

Well, one month in so far and loving the truck. It's taken a while to get used to all the technology nannies, the most annoying of which I've turned off or down. Beyond that, the truck is every bit as good as people said on the web. Looking forward to many years of service with this one.
