Help with A/T tire vs dedicated winter tire

Hi,
I have done a lot of research on whether to instal an A/T tire (winter peak) vs a dedicated winter tire (Michelin or Blizzak). I live in Canada and to be honest my daily driver will not be off-road very much but I really like a little aggressive look. I also realize from what I’ve read that a A/T tire can not replace a dedicated winter tire for snow and ice performance.

My question is what do people experience with A/T on dry pavement? Snow and ice performance? Noise.

I think I should probably get dedicated winter tires but I’d be ok to sacrifice some performance for the look.

If you’re after an aggressive winter tire look at the the General Grabber Arctic LT. It has the best off-road-inspired tread and chunky lugs (for a winter tire). The Nokian Hakkapeliitta, Toyo Open Country WLT1, BFGoodrich Winter T/A KSI, and Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT LT all all good options for winter tires though.

Or studded tires, you can always get an A/T and then stud the tires. Lots of studdable options out there as well.
