I installed the NYTOP axle dump exhaust tip awhile back and it’s one of my favorite mods I did early on. I definitely caught the oem exhaust on a bunch of hazards and just about flattened the end so I had to do something.
I had seen NYTOP’s exhaust tip on IG and shared it to my story and a few people on IG had suggested going to an exhaust shop and having them fab one up, had it quoted out and wasn’t much cheaper. I liked the sound of titanium for weight savings and the easy installation so pulled the trigger on ordering it. Other feed back I got was people worried about the titanium failing from the exhaust heat but that hasn’t been a concern for me.
The part showed up in the mail and I slapped it on in about 20 mins. Fishing the oem exhaust section out was pretty easy but kind of awkward and it had some weight to it. Removed the exhaust ring and bolted up the new tip, piece of cake!
I have an install video on my IG for reference.
Didn’t change the sound much if at all or affect the MPG and now I don’t have to worry about snagging it on anything and causing more damage or repairs!
I have skid plates from NYTOP also and I’ll share some images and thoughts on those soon!
