Today was bittersweet. Sold my 2017 OR, fully built (picture below), to the new owner after 4.5 years of ownership. Looks like it went to a good home. It was my first Tacoma build after having a 3G and 4G 4Runner. I should be picking up my new 4G within a week or so. Bronze Oxide, ORP Hybrid. So stoked! My first new truck. I'll miss the old one, but big plans for the new truck.

Yooooooo, let's go!!

What's the plan for the new 4th Gen? What tire size you going with out of the gates? 35" or you going straight for the 37"???

Basically a replica of the 3G. It had a GFC camper, Goose Gear system, etc.

Probably going to start slow and check lead times on all the products. Lots of stuff still seems to be in development. Got some Perry Parts rear bumps coming, and likely going to run some Lock Combat wheels (machined) with some Arroyo 33x12.5 RTs for now. We'll see what happens after that... The goal is to get a lift kit on there and some beadlocks with 37s.

Soooooo long old Taco! Hello to a non gear hunting future lol.

Hey, it wasn't THAT bad lol. Especially after the tune. But considering how heavy and built it was, not bad at all.

Congrats! The hybrid it the hotness lol
What is coming first?

I'm pretty excited for the extra power, for sure!

Probably wheels and tires. Lock Combat wheels (machine finish) some Arroyo RTs (33s for now). I've got some Peak Suspension UCAs and their preload collar and spacer lift to start. Probably some Cali Raised products too. Rock sliders, skids, maybe a roof rack. Still figuring that part out. A few others, but the immediate future is really wheels, tires, lift kit. Eventually we'll go a little bit deeper!

You're going with 33" tires? Bro it fits 35" comfortably .... I thought you said you really wanted to push this thing?

For now, yeah. Since it's a new truck, I want to see what it's like to run different tire sizes. We'll start with 33s, then bump it to 35s, and hopefully get into 37s by summer.
