Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anybody had any luck finding reliable suspension upgrades for Limited trim models with AVS.

I want to put a small lift to get completely get rid of the rubbing with my new tire setup, but also to give the truck an even more aggressive look.
Everything that I'm finding online seems to be incompatible with the AVS models.

Here are some pics that I took the other day of my truck:

Hmm... this is the first time I'm hearing about this. Had to look it up. The AVS system that is. Does it have any special buttons or anything?

I would think you could technically disconnect the shocks and install new ones, but I imagine that may generate an error code of some kind. So not quite sure. It might need some kind of simulator harness to delete and use an aftermarket lift kit. This seems to be new for 25-26, so since many companies are just wrapping up their suspension lines for new Toyotas, I wouldn't expect they have begun trying to figure that one out quite yet.

Just to quickly clarify, the lift might help on road, but the tire will still rub the same off-road as the suspension cycles.

Your truck is a Limited? I see you have a Pro grille and some other stuff, but that doesn't look like a Limited, haha. Just curious. Did you take off the badges?

Yup it’s a 2024 Limited! I debadged, put the Pro grill on, completely blacked out all the chrome parts that come with a limited and threw on the RC fender flares.

As for the rub, it really only rubs in very specific circumstances but yea I think I’m just really looking to upgrade the suspension in general. Good point about the shocks being replaced might work but yea I haven’t seen much info online about upgrading the limited suspension

Ahhh, makes sense!

Keep us posted if you learn anything. Have you tried calling any brands and asking around?
