Hey guys, posted this over in the Trailhunter section as well since i didn't realize there was a rock slider section.

I'm looking for a bolt on replacement of the OEM rock sliders that don't require any extra drilling and just use the OEM bolt locations that also have top plates for use as a step. Kick out would also be preferred. Gotta make it easier for the dog to get in and out, and sometimes myself - haha.

I like the look of the Westcott sliders with the top plates, but not sure if those use the Trailhunter OEM bolt locations. I also have the long bed model.

Thanks in advance.

Hey! Check out Cali Raised Step Edition. Had them on my last Tacoma. They were great. They come with a kickout as well.

I just got the Trail Edition ones installed, but those are way more angled, no top plate.

For those running any 20 degree sliders, are you able to actually use them as a step up into the truck? Trying to look up some comparisons between 0 degree and 20 degree but can't seem to find a pic at the right angle to determine if there are any 20 degree sliders that could still be used as a step up.

I think it will depend on the design. Each will be different. Mine are pretty aggressive (Cali Raised ones I mentioned above) and they are very tight to the body and don't give you a ton of room to step on, especially in the front. The kickout makes it easier for the back.

If you really need/want to step on them, get them as flat as possible. If you want clearance and a lower profile, get the angled.
