I went ahead and changed out my TRD Sport Grille for a YotaVerse Replica TRD Pro Grille! It fully changed the way the truck looks. It makes the front end look completely different. Upgrading the grille on your Tacoma is a major plus. Not only does it elevate the truck’s appearance and make it stand out from the crowd, it helps with visibility because of the light bar that is included! Whether you're looking to personalize your ride, improve its performance, or simply add an extra bit of lighting for off-roading, an upgraded grille is one of the best investments you can make. Plus, it’s an easy upgrade that completely changes the front end appearance as well as performance. I 100% recommend getting the TRD Pro Grille over the OEM Grille any day! I chose the grille with the raptor lights & light bar for off-roading purposes and helping with visibility when I am not on the pavement. It takes approximately 1-2 hours to change out the grille, with basic tools needed and it is a simple 1 person job. Tools needed - Phillips head and flat head screwdriver, 10mm, and trim pry tool. Soooooo, I just took my new Tacoma to the dealer for a check engine light that came on for the grille shutter malfunctioning, along with several other warnings on the dash. I took a photo of all the warnings that came on. My dealer has ordered I believe a whole new grille shutter assembly to fix it. I will keep you all updated on the fix, hopefully in the next week or so when the part comes in. The good news is that the vehicle was totally drivable. It just randomly came on.
