Another Taco in Maryland

Hi. I'm Darren. I upgraded from the 24 4runner ORP. Some might think that is a downgrade, but for me I have no regrets.

The runner was fun on the trails, camping, and daily driving, but there were two things I didn't like. It was not a dual climate control so during the winter time the wife and I constantly bickering about how it's too cold/too hot/too cold....I was like, f-it. Gonna get a dual climate control. The other thing were the cameras, especially the back up camera, horrible.

Here to learn things from other members and will share stuff I do with my truck. I'm not building like the ultimate off-road truck, just sharing common things that I buy and add on. Hoping my posts will answer questions that other might have when considering a product.

Welcome. Nice truck! Looks like bronze oxide - I have the same spec, just with the hybrid.

I definitely don't think it's a downgrade. The 4Runner maybe be a great SUV, with crazy good longevity, but the Tacoma is a completely redesigned and modern truck. It's legit not a fair comparison lol. Obviously, we'll see about longevity. But I think we'll be fine.

Not talking bad about 4Runners. I used to have a couple haha. But I like having a truck more right now.
