Hi,
Definitely been reading this forum and a couple others for maybe over a month now. So much good information to be had. I finally got my 2026 Tacoma SR5 yesterday after trading in my 2024 4Runner OR. I needed the extra payload and towing capacity for sure and honestly I never ever used the 4x4 low stuff in the OR. That being said the 4th gen Tacoma definitely has some go vs 5th gen 4Runner. So it’s a downgrade but upgrade at the same time, so far loving it, I’ve always been a truck guy!! Here’s a photo of 4Runner and the new truck. Also got to keep my my fuel wheels and Nokian tires, went to my tire guys and ordered the hub centric rings and new lugs soon as I got the truck. Hoping they fit due to size and offset lol. Also got some money back on this trade so I paid nothing which is awesome, otherwise wife wouldn’t have agreed to it (she hated the solar octane paint) so maybe it would’ve happened either way lol
