Hey! So I went ahead and installed a DV8 Offroad bumper onto my truck this weekend.
With adding the DV8 bumper it helps with safety, off-roading functionality, and aesthetics. It is a super slick bumper and gives you a spot to fit a winch and more lighting onto your Tacoma. I would definitely recommend getting the bumper! It is a great upgrade for anyone who frequently off-roads or just wants to increase the durability and aesthetic of their Tacoma. The protection, enhanced off-road performance, and functional features like winch mounts and light integration make it a must have for serious adventurers. Plus, the aggressive look and added protection from collisions or impacts give your Tacoma both form and function. If you’re looking for long term durability and a bumper that can take a beating, a steel front bumper is an excellent investment!
It took approximately 4 hours. It is a 2 person job. You will need a Dremel, 10mm, 17mm, 21mm, 22mm, flat & phillips head screwdrivers, trim pry tool, and safety glasses.
BEWARE!!!! ---- You do have to trim the front bumper to be able to fit the DV8 bumper on!!!!!
