Quick question for the i-Force Max owners — how are you wiring in accessories with the battery tucked under the rear seat?

On my last truck it was simple to run stuff straight off the engine bay, but this setup seems like a different challenge. I’m looking at adding lights and a couple other small accessories, and I’m curious what solutions people are using:

  • Are you running wires straight from the rear battery, or routing everything to a fuse block in the front?
  • Any clean pass-throughs you’ve found for wiring to the engine bay?
  • Has anyone set up a secondary fuse/relay panel for accessories yet?

Would love to see pics or hear what’s working for you guys before I start tearing into it. I have some new lights coming soon for the truck and trying to figure out how I want to wire them up. Thinking about using the accessory buttons but not sure yet.

I think the best and simplest way is to run some main leads into the engine bay through the cab and firewall. You'll need a pretty large cable for a run that long. There has to be a grommet you can push through behind the steering column. You could always drill and make your own for the cleanest install. Doesn't need to be a huge hole. Then you can have a power and ground ready to run to a switch panel, winch, etc. Up to you how you want to set it up then. I think someone is making a kit, but they are expensive. Might be easier to just buy and make your own cables. Depends on how plug and plug you want it.
