Free Year Of Navigation Expiring - Will I Lose It All Together Without Paying?

I did a search but it did not pull up an an answer to my question. My free year of navigation is up and Toyota want to charge me $15/month to keep it.

Question: Do I lose navigation all together if I don't pay or just the ability to receive updates?
