Heater Issue

Is anyone having issues with their heater not blowing well out of the dash vents on the max temperature setting? I reported my issue to the dealership in November of last year. After they conversed with Toyota Technial Support they decided to replace the entire HAVAC box behind the dash. I picked my truck up last Friday and it does blow a little harder out of the dash vent. Thanks for any input.

Yea mine is the same when when max heat is chosen.. if its on the cold setting it blows like normal on max setting

I noticed that the tempature setting on mine is funky on heat. set to 70 not a lot of heat, but to much at 74. It was 20' outside, so both should have been blowing hot air. It was odd, but not bad enough for me to go to the dealer about it

I dont think its by design.. i can hear the air going somewhere when max heat is chosen but its not coming out of the vents.. might be blender door problem but enough of us need to complain before they put out a TSB on it

I spoke to the service manager when they replaced my hvac box, he stated that it had a new part number which told him that something was revised on it. It blowers a little better than before it was replaced but is still insufficient to me.

These trucks do seem to have a weaker airflow. That said, it still warms up plenty fast and I've never found myself complaining about the heating/cooling ability.
