Started taking apart my truck today to install my new intercooler. Pretty involved install. Lots of steps and not a ton of room to work with around the intercooler.
Everything went somewhat smoothly, but getting the OEM intercooler out was a pain. Space is limited and I was afraid of breaking something, haha. Eventually, with a little bit of creatively used force, I was able to wiggle it out.

Here's a quick side-by-side of them. The SXTH one is obviously larger.

Quick explanation of what it does...
- Upgrades the restrictive factory intercooler with a larger bar-and-plate core that fills the grille opening for better cooling and airflow.
- Roughly 16% more internal volume with a drop in pressure differential, leading to lower intake temperatures (turbo outlet ~48 °F lower, post-intercooler ~14 °F lower).
- SXTH testing data shows up to ~15.5 hp and ~14.4 lb-ft of torque over stock, with improved response and efficiency across the RPM range.
- Made with cast aluminum end tanks and retains all factory sensors and components
- Direct bolt-on fit for 2024+ Tacoma, 2025+ 4Runner, and 2024+ Land Cruiser LC250.
