Now this is one I've been pretty hyped for. The RIGd UltraSwing!
Simply put, it's a spare tire carrier (and other accessories) that mounts in your hitch receiver. It has a gnarly accessory lineup. Bike rack, tables, hi-lift bracket, and a good variety of other mounts. It's as rigid as can be; there is a wedge component to the part that sits in the receiver. You tighten a bolt inside once it's inside the channel, and it cinches down so tightly that the result is really stable. It weighs about 65 lbs., which includes the wheel plate. But not any other accessories. Not bad at all, even if you load it up with stuff.
Rear bumpers are rad, and I'm sure I'll have one at some point as the build grows, but they are pricey. This comes in at half, or less than half, of most rear bumpers with swing outs. Relatively easy to remove and less permanent. With a lot of similar functions. You could also pair it with a simple rear bumper without a swing out, and throw the UltraSwing on when you do a trip. Flexibility is the cool part of this system.
It's made in the USA, has a lifetime warranty, and is rated up to 10k lbs., comes powder coated - I could keep going. Comes with the license plate relocation kit too!
I added the UltraTable, but now I want the whole lineup... lol.
It's a very strong design, I've seen these things take a ton of abuse. Sure it sticks out a little, but again, it's overbuilt. It will be just fine. Quick rattle can and you're good as new.
The latch is their design and patented. It's pretty much the nicest latch I've ever seen. Great operation.
I love the look!
