Tacoma Apple CarPlay update!

For you iPhone users, IOS 18.4 just gave use a solid update to CarPlay. It looks like those with larger screen Tacomas are now able to have a third row of icons! Finally. I hated the fact that there was 2 rows with giant icons for the longest time.

Can 8” screen users confirm this too? Or is it just for larger screen users that get the 3rd row?

How well do all those apps work? I haven't really messed with CarPlay much. Just use it for calls and navigation, mainly.

I use Google Maps Amazon Music and the phone (voice and text) and they work just fine, Really haven't had a need to use anything else.
