Looking for the best rock sliders for the 2024+ 4th Gen Tacoma? Key factors to consider are kick-outs for extra protection versus no kick-outs, DOM vs. HREW tubing for strength, top plates vs. no top plates, and angled versus non-angled sliders. If you could choose any brand/style/design out of the options below, which one would you take and why?

In no specific order, here are some of the best rock sliders for the 24+ Tacoma.

C4 Fab will not fit TRD Pro even tho they confirmed they would in an email. Fuel tank mount is in the way on passenger side and the d1,2,3 make the frame bolts misaligned. Plus they come with Zero instructions.
Good to know. Thanks for sharing.

I'm really glad you posted this. I have a Trailhunter and it doesn't seem enough to say you have a 4th gen, apparently there are lots of things that don't fit the Trailhunter or TRD Pro. Annoying lol

I'm going to add one. I'm old school and was going to run one of the traditional tube and plate sliders. I decided to go in a different direction, more in the NyTop direction. I ordered the sliders from Victory 4x4. Slider protection, with the functionality of a running board. I'm sure my old carcass will appreciate them.

As a fellow old carcass careening into decrepitude, I support this. Lol

Those look nice!
For the price they should be. I decided a modern truck should have a modern looking slider. Those tube sliders are fine on my 1985. But I think after almost 40 years sliders should evolve.

Where are you from? Nothing makes us happier in America than not evolving, it's like our hallmark. Lol

Nice '85... my buddy and I got his '85 runner stuck in some snow covered rocks, LOL

Good info. I have Cali Raised on my 3G Tacoma. They're very nice and price and lead times are great. Will probably go that direction again once I have my new 4G...
I know this is an old comment but yes, totally agree, the Cali Raised sliders are great, should I ever decide to pick up a 4th gen I will be sticking with them! I am a Trail Edition kinda guy myself, would more than likely stick with that style.

Is the top-plate on the Cali Raised removable? IE, add a plate to it that is similar to C4 fab, for extra grip/traction when using as a step.

Yeah, Step Edition does have removable plates, but only on the step edition sliders. You can't add those to the Trail Edition at a later point.

Just installed my Cali Raised Trail Edition over the weekend! Super clean design and low profile. Coming from a Step Edition on my old 3G Tacoma.
