BakMX4 Cover issues

I installed the MX4 on my truck this week, and I'm having issues with it. I can't get the rails forward enough so the locking tabs don't hit the clips, and the clips are unable to clip up in the rail. Is anyone having issues?

I had the same issues while trying to install it as well. I ended up returning it and ordering the oem Toyota one. Was kinda bummed because I have the Bak Flip on my other truck and loved it.

If you ordered it from RealTruck they have a pretty good return policy. They will send you a shipping label and you can send it straight back. That sucks though. They usually make pretty solid covers.

I have a back flip ordered and hear there was some changes made so they will fit the new Tacoma. Is on order but told should be available in two weeks.

Had the same back flip on my last three F150s and it still looked new when I sold my last F150. Knew it would not fit my new Tacoma so left it on the truck. Loved the back flip and they are very durable.

Waiting on my mudflaps too I ordered from Toyota, you would think they would have those made and ready to go for the new model, but no... Lol

Hopefully they fix it. It looks good and I know they last. Just upset that it doesn’t fit.
