I need to share more of this stuff! Got a ton of pictures from all my trips.

We went to Colorado about a month ago. Stayed around the Denver area, we did a big circle southwest in the mountains.

One trail we were pretty stoked on was Yansing, aka Chinaman, Gulch. We ran a small part of it a couple years ago, but it was February and the trail got too icy to get very far.

Fast forward to this summer, I met up with my buddy who has a Gladiator on 40s, and Tuan from R4T, so we could hit this one together. As far as difficulty goes, I would probably give this one a 7-8, with some optional lines that you could call a 9. This is all assuming what's reasonable to hit in a built Tacoma, not like what a fully caged buggy would do.

The trail is super long. And it's slow going. It has some flat sections, but there are a lot of rocks to drive over. Even if they aren't huge, it's not something you really blast through. Unless you're really confident and experienced, I would set aside a whole day for this one. It took us about 5 hours, stopping to shoot some photo and video and choose our lines carefully.

There is definitely potential for body damage. I got close a few times. Preferably, you'll want 35s, skids, rock sliders, lift kit, and recovery gear. Locker is always helpful. Could you do it on less? Maybe. But this isn't a beginner or moderate trail.

Overall, while stressful at times, I enjoyed this run. I tried some harder lines and started to find the limitations of the current setup. I took some "body damage" but it's mainly on the front bumper (which I'll be replacing with a new one soon), some small scratches, and dented in the bottom of the bedsides behind my rear tire (will also cut this away for a high clearance bumper eventually), but nothing major on any doors, etc. Got close a couple times though!

Tuan was shooting a YT video, which I'll link below. Check it out if you want to see some steel get smashed around on the rocks, haha.
