Alright so I made the move to 37s! Finally has been done. I had been looking to do this for awhile now but had to figure out just how I wanted to do it without portals and with a 2.5 inch coil over lift. After watching some videos I knew it was going to require cutting plastic…. And the body. I have more pictures coming soon but here is a sneak peak of the rear so far and I’ll explain what I did.

In the first pic you can see what it used to look like and see where I ultimately chose to cut. This cut was with the natural body line and fender flare. Once I cut that line I used the cut line to cut the body. This was the hard part. To make it easier I could’ve taken a marker and traced the line and then taken off the fender flare but I wanted a percise cut. After this was done it was all about taking the burrs out and cleaning it up. Take your time when you do this.
I still need to do the front but I am waiting for wider fender flares from another company so I will have to redo the rear and will make another post! Thanks for reading. Good luck cutting!
