Alright so I made the move to 37s! Finally has been done. I had been looking to do this for a while now but had to figure out just how I wanted to do it without portals and with a 2.5-inch coil-over lift. After watching some videos I knew it was going to require cutting plastic…. And the body. I have more pictures coming soon but here is a sneak peak of the rear so far and I’ll explain what I did.

In the first pic you can see what it used to look like and see where I ultimately chose to cut. This cut was with the natural body line and fender flare. Once I cut that line I used the cut line to cut the body. This was the hard part. To make it easier I could’ve taken a marker and traced the line and then taken off the fender flare but I wanted a percise cut. After this was done it was all about taking the burrs out and cleaning it up. Take your time when you do this.

I still need to do the front but I am waiting for wider fender flares from another company so I will have to redo the rear and will make another post!

Thanks for reading. Good luck cutting!

Heck yeah! Glad to see more people making the jump to 37s. All said and done, not terribly difficult to fit. You just have to be comfortable with cutting.

I did a whole video on 37" tire fitment. If anyone is looking for a detailed overview.
