I literally just crossed one year of ownership with my truck. I moved relatively fast in the beginning with a few basics. Lift, wheels, tires, bump stops.
12 months and 17,000 miles later, my truck has transformed quite a bit from that first stage. It's pretty heavy now. GFC camper, a bunch of steel armor, 37s, and a whole bunch of gear when we travel. I've been to Montana and Colorado for some wheeling trips. Everything from basic forest service roads to 8-9/10 lines on the rocks.
If you've ever bottomed out on a big dip in the road or a random rut off-road, you know that it doesn't feel good. The factory bumps are pretty hard and leave a lot to be desired, especially for modified rigs. The more weight I added, and the more my springs sagged, the more I noticed the impact of the new bumps. As I type this out, I can't think of a single time where I bottomed out the rear end and felt that stiff and jarring feedback from contact. It's always been smooth. And after nearly 20k miles, they still look just as good as new.
Truck picture for attention. The only thing missing in this photo is my new C4 hybrid bumper.

There's only a rear set. The 4G doesn't have one in the front.
