I know some owners might have been considering what phone mount to use for their Tacoma, so I figured I’d share what I’ve been using in my 2024 Tacoma. My Tacoma is my daily drive, and so I needed something that keeps my phone out of my face when I’m rolling but is still easy to peek at or grab when I’m chilling at a stoplight or parked.

I’m not that picky when it comes to stuff like this, but I can’t stand mounts that block my view or make me fight to get my phone in and out. I tried a few that didn’t really suit me, but then I snagged this MagSafe one off Amazon for about $80.

All I can say is it's been rock-solid; it doesn’t budge even when I’m hauling down bumpy dirt roads. It took me like 10 minutes to slap it on from the passenger side—super straightforward. I got a 3-foot USB-C cable to go with it, just long enough to plug in for a quick charge without cords all over the place. The MagSafe lets my phone just snap on and off like nothing. No messing around, which is perfect when I’m hopping in and out of the truck.

Just wanted to put this out there for anyone hunting for a solid phone mount. You guys got any favorites?

This is my setup. I wanted to keep my Quadlock stuff so I went the extra mile. I have yet to see anyone else do this.
I’ve got the Offroam 22mm ball mount with a basic Amazon 22 mm ball short arm and a Tackform Quadlock 20 mm adapter ball and the Quadlock mag charging mount.
It sounds like a lot but because I already had the Quadlock stuff from my 4Runner, it works out well.
