- 2025 Tacoma TRD Offroad Long Bed Upgrade Package
Update on the Rough Country 3.5” Lift – 2025 Tacoma TRD Off Road
Got the truck back and I’m stoked with how it turned out.
The added clearance is immediately noticeable, especially with the double cab long bed. The stance looks a lot more aggressive without going over the top. Front end sits just right with no weird rake or squat, and it rides surprisingly well for a spacer kit. Daily driving feel is basically unchanged, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
You can definitely feel the suspension maxing out on more technical terrain, so if you're going out offroading often this probably isn’t the setup for you. A full coilover kit would be better suited, but for casual trails and weekend warrior use, it's perfect. It gives you more clearance and a better stance without the cost or complexity of a full suspension overhaul.
Approach and departure angles are improved and I’m already eyeing a slightly bigger tire setup now that there’s room. Still plenty of space for articulation without rubbing.
Overall, for the price, this kit delivers. It’s not trying to be a high-end coilover setup, but it makes a real difference in both looks and light trail performance.
Dropped a few photos below so you can see the stance. Feel free to ask any questions—I’ll keep this thread updated as I put more miles on it.
If you're considering it, here’s the kit:
