Silicone on roof rack bolts during installation?

Well I waited for the brake line hold to be over and picked up one of the last 2024 Taco's here in the Pacific Northwest. I am coming from a 2015 TRD OR. It's been about 3 weeks and I dig this truck! Let the mods begin... I did black out the tailgate letters as soon as I git it home along with the license plate frames. Keep up the cool videos Jon!

I would usually put a silicone on under the bolts during installation but I noticed the 4G taco has an OEM tape around the holes that seems to seal everything when tightened down.. anyone else know what I’m talking about? Should I take it back apart and add some?
